From the very start PBN was dedicated to produce high-end audio products for the aficionado. Each speaker is always a deft combination of art and science in which compromise was never a consideration. It is this refusal to compromise that moved Peter Bichel Noerbaek to attain that elusive perfection between electronic prowess and acoustic reality.
At the heart of each speaker and component is the true secret to PBN’s success. It can only be defined by one standard: What you actually hear – not what you’ve been told you heard, not what others claim they heard and not what instruments measure. At PBN “Hearing Is Believing” – always has been, always will be. It’s just that simple!
PBN uses only the finest components and materials throughout its products, including paints, veneers and glues. Mindful of following each manufacturer’s recommendations during the process control in fabrication and finishing, every standard is strictly met or exceeded. As an international company that ships its finished products throughout the world, to varying climates and harsh atmospheric conditions, our products are sometimes subjected to temperature and humidity extremes beyond our control. With this in mind, our customers should be aware that a phenomenon called “checking” sometimes occurs to the veneers we use due to extremely dry atmospheres. Even though we use the finest veneers, when the moisture is forced out of the air, veneers will shrink and either crack or part at the seams. The forces that cause the shrinking are so powerful that neither the quality glues we use nor the top coat of varnish we apply can hold the select veneers in place. PBN suggests that if you live in extreme weather zones where humidifiers are often required, use at least one near the veneered-finished speakers you purchased from us.
BE ADVISED: PBN CANNOT WARRANTY SPEAKERS AGAINST EXTREME ATMOSPHERIC CONDITIONS BEYOND ITS CONTROL.
